Toby Germano

Toby joined the Wellington team in 2005. After nearly 2 decades of toiling in the restaurant business in the South Bay, Toby realized that the wine aspects of the food zoo were what excited him the most. After moving to Sonoma in 2000, he enrolled in viticulture and wine business classes at night, while getting hands-on experience at Napa & Sonoma wineries by day. Germano Wine Consulting was born in 2003, giving him even more wine business experience, as a boutique winery broker. As General Manager of Wellington Vineyards, Toby has his hand in a little bit of everything, which keeps things moving, and always challenging.

When not working at Wellington, Toby devotes his time to animal welfare, environmental issues, and music. A prolific songwriter, he has written over 800 songs, and often plays guitar and sings throughout the Bay Area.
